I thought I knew everything there is to know about Photography, it all seemed pretty basic, you snap a photo and you capture a moment in time forever. Yes, that's pretty much all you need to know when you're just mindlessly having fun and don't really have a huge interest in photography, or if you really just use your cell phone to take selfies or what have you, but if you take photos as a hobby or a career you might want to learn about a few things.
The basic operations were a little confusing at first because it was a little different from my camera at home, however over time operating the camera was relatively simple. I didn't have to operate it to much over the course anyway, normally my group members were the ones who would want to do so. The tripod was interesting my group had trouble attempting to set up the tripod, so we went without, that was a mistake because our photos were out of balance and taken at different angle each time, this made our stop motion video unstable. Light and the general lighting in the video is really important, if you take a photo with the sun in the background the focus of you photo may end up washed out. Also not having enough general lighting in the photo will make the focus of you picture hard to see.
This photo my group took during the photo composition unit, the multitude of colors makes it pop out quite nicely.
This picture was one of the first ones I took with a friend and it come out well. You can see almost every little detail.
